LOL Letter — June Update

Sometimes the season that feels uncertain is the very season revealing who you are becoming.

Discovery Calls

Over the past year, I have found myself sitting with people in many different seasons of life.

Some were navigating a transition they never expected.

Others were carrying questions they could not quite answer yet.

And many were simply trying to make sense of what comes next after a season that changed them.

What I have noticed is that clarity rarely arrives all at once.

More often, it emerges through conversation, reflection, prayer, and time.

That is where Discovery Calls come in.

Discovery Calls are an opportunity for us to have a conversation about what brings you here.

During the call, I will learn more about what brings you here and the kind of support you are seeking so we can determine whether Living Out Loud offers a service that aligns with your needs.

Together, we will explore what support you are seeking, discuss available options, and determine appropriate next steps.

If there is a good fit, I will recommend the service or pathway that may be most helpful.

If Living Out Loud is not the right fit, I will let you know and, when possible, suggest other resources that may better serve your needs.

The goal is simple: to help you make an informed decision about your next step. There is no pressure and no expectation.

If you are curious about Living Out Loud services and would like to explore whether there is a good fit for your needs, I would be honored to connect.

One Year Later

Over the past year, I completed my dissertation, launched Living Out Loud, began developing educator renewal work, and had conversations that continue to shape the direction of this next chapter.

Some things are now established.

Others are still taking shape.

The Educator Renewal Series, Discovery Calls, community offerings, and future partnerships are all part of work that is continuing to unfold.

Perhaps the greatest lesson has been realizing that transition is not about arriving. It is about becoming.

Clarity often follows movement.

Purpose can evolve without being abandoned.

And some of the most meaningful growth happens while we are still figuring things out.

Living Out Loud Is Growing

One of the greatest gifts of this season has been the opportunity to connect with people through conversation.

Some conversations have centered around educator wellbeing.

Others have focused on leadership, caregiving, wellness, purpose, or navigating difficult transitions.

What continues to surprise me is how often people are not looking for immediate solutions.

They are looking for space.

Space to think.

Space to process.

Space to be honest about where they are without feeling pressured to have everything figured out.

The more I listen, the more I realize that meaningful reflection is not a luxury.

It is often the beginning of meaningful change.

Educator Renewal Update

Throughout June, I continued sharing reflections, articles, and conversations focused on educator experiences, school culture, and leadership.

The Educator Renewal Series continues to evolve as I listen to the needs educators and school leaders are carrying right now.

While every school and community is different, several themes continue to surface:

  • The need for connection

  • The need for clarity

  • The need for support that feels practical and sustainable

  • The need for spaces where people can think honestly about the work they are doing

I remain excited about opportunities to pilot and refine these experiences with schools and educational teams interested in creating healthier, more reflective learning communities.

The 90-Day Flex Journey

On June 1, a group of participants began the LOL 90-Day Flex and committed to spending the next 12 weeks focusing on wellness through small, sustainable practices.

What I appreciate most about this experience is that it was never designed around perfection.

Instead, it is built around consistency and the understanding that meaningful change rarely happens all at once.

Throughout the challenge, participants are encouraged to focus on simple daily actions such as movement, hydration, nourishment, rest, reflection, and other habits that support overall well-being.

As we move through the summer together, I am reminded that sustainable growth is often found in ordinary decisions repeated over time and in the willingness to begin again after a difficult day.

I look forward to seeing how each participant's journey unfolds over the coming weeks.

Encouragement for the Month

If you are standing in the middle of your own transition, give yourself permission not to have every answer.

Over the past year, I have learned that growth often reveals itself one step at a time.

Some seasons are meant to provide clarity.

Others are meant to develop patience, trust, and perseverance.

Wherever you find yourself today, remember that not everything unfinished is failing.

Some things are simply still becoming.

Blessings,
